This scholarship aims at recognising and encouraging undergraduates with exceptional academic records and community contributions. |

The successful candidates will be awarded a certificate of recognition and HK$5,000 for one of the Undergraduate Scholarships below: |

One HKAUW Ellen Li Undergraduate Scholarship. |

One HKAUW Undergraduate Scholarship. |
Eligibility Criteria |
|
|
Must be registered full-time female students, usually in their second year |
| of study | |
| |
Nominated by the Universities granting degrees to women in Hong Kong |
|
Demonstrates participation and involvement in the community service |
Application Procedure |

The completed application forms must be returned to the Student Affairs Office on or before 30 th September 2007 . The application form can also be downloaded from the website: http://www.hkauw.org/ |

| Announcement of Results | |
Short-listed candidates are required to attend an interview in Oct/Nov 2007. Applicants who are not notified of the outcome by late October may assume that the application is unsuccessful. The Association does NOT provide critiques for unsuccessful applications. The results of the award will be notified around late November. |

| Presentation of Awards | |
The certificate and award will be presented to the scholarship recipients at an Awards Presentation Ceremony scheduled in December. The scholarship recipients are required to attend the Ceremony and the Gala Dinner. |
