Chinese Poetry Workshops “接近詩歌——從欣賞到創作”工作坊 – Saturday, 28 March and 25 April

On behalf of the HKAUW Executive Committee, I write to extend my invitation to you to join us at the captioned event.

Upon the onset of our 52nd year, one of our goals is to help members to acquire knowledge beyond their own areas of study. To this end, two inspiring workshops on the appreciation and creation of Chinese poetry will be offered on 28 March and 25 April. Both Workshops will be conducted in Putonghua with the below details:

Presenter: Ms. Chen Lan
(free of charge)

We are grateful for the help of Ms. Chen Lan, a HKAUW member who is studying for her Ph.D. in Chinese Literature at HKU, in making the Workshops possible. Ms. Chen has been writing Chinese poetry since youth and has won numerous prizes for her poetry. If you are keen about learning to appreciate and to write poems in Chinese, do join us in the learning and sharing.

To facilitate small group interactive learning, the Workshops will be limited to 20 people on a first-come-first-served basis. For registration, kindly complete and return the e-reply by March 21 to: Diana Lee, Exco Member at dianalee@hkauw.org

主講者：陳嵐，香港大學中文學院博士候選人，北京大學文學學士及藝術史雙學士、古代文學碩士，曾任舊體詩詞刊物《北社》編委及獲得多種新詩獎項。

內容簡介：當我們遇到一些心靈的感動，往往會想起前人的詩歌、並借用它們來表達自己的情緒；那麼你可曾想過用自己的詩歌來表達這些情緒？其實，閱讀詩歌與創作詩歌之間，並沒有不可逾越的鴻溝。身兼古典詩歌的專業研究者和新體詩人的講者，將利用具體的例子和自己真實的經驗，為你介紹從欣賞詩歌到自己創作詩歌的一些途徑：例如如何在閱讀中學習詩歌創作的方法；如何從古代詩歌和翻譯詩歌中汲取藝術元素；並重點介紹嘗試詩歌創作的捷徑：即模擬和仿作。在第一次工作坊中，主持人還會邀請你介紹你自己所感興趣的詩歌體裁或主題，並對你的選擇提出寫作方法上的建議；之後，請你完成一篇詩歌習作並發送到主持人的電子郵箱。在第二次工作坊中，主持人將逐篇匿名賞析這些作品，並根據其風格提出今後創作方向的參考。參加者還將得到有關舊體詩詞格律及新詩閱讀書目等方面的材料。
